There are thousands of positions currently available worldwide, but there are also many applicants seeking contracts as paid professionals, interns or volunteers. Of course, the successful applicants will be those who hold the best qualifications certification, and experience- preferably in an international context.

Many candidates are well qualified, but lack experience or training in applying their skills in an international context. It is the goal of the Faculty of International Studies and Technology to bridge that gap.

Previously established programs of International TESOL College have been exclusively dedicated to the training and certification of Teachers of the English Language. The new Faculty represents a departure from this focus. Participants in its programs will be preparing to work in their chosen professions overseas.

Graduates of the Faculty of International Studies and Technology will accept positions, not primarily as teachers of the English language, but as skilled English-speaking professionals who are also skilled in communicating and interfacing with individuals who are not native speakers of English. The goal of the Faculty of International Studies and Technology program graduates will be to apply their professional skills as part of a dynamic multicultural team overseas.

Participants in the programs of the Faculty of International Studies and Technology will receive training and support to secure the type of overseas position that is suited to their personal and professional goals, to function both professionally and personally in an international context, and to apply their professional knowledge and experience effectively. Participants will also learn about the history, culture, and economics of their chosen country.
