About the Course

This course examines the instruments used for teaching and testing English as a second language. It considers technical and practical aspects of language test design and construction; explores the links between methods and materials; and investigates the advantages and disadvantages of authentic, commercial, and in-house materials and assessments. It also gives students hands-on experience in various phases of test and materials design .
