International TESOL College is pleased to announce --

That the International TESOL practice teaching and B.ED. PRACTICUM programs in Progreso, Mexico will continue in 2005.

As of November 1, 2004 these teaching programs have been revised as part of the SIMPLY ENGLISH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM IN YUCATAN, MEXICO.

These programs are now being operated by SIMPLY ENGLISH a Mexican Charitable organization with head office in Progreso, Yucatan.

Similar to the previous International TESOL programs, SIMPLY ENGLISH will focus on providing English language education to the poor of the rural Yucatan villages as well as the largest orphanages in the state.

All lessons are provided FREE of charge to these needy students.

The International TESOL programs

Since 2000 over 500 children were offered English lessons on a regular basis. Many of these have become employed in the evolving tourist trade of the area bring much needed income to their families.

The program will restart on a weekly basis beginning January 16, 2005. The program will run Sunday to Sunday as previously done.

The cost will be $450.US per week, which includes accommodations, food, tuition fees and course materials.

In the past over 900 international teachers have participated in this program bringing with them hope for the children of the region.

We hope that in 2005, SIMPLY ENGLISH can count on the continuing support of TESOL teachers worldwide.
