International TESOL College is proud to offer these  two new and innovative English teacher training Alternative DEGREE programs. 

Both programs provide advanced education and training to supplement the formal education , training and life experiences already possessed by the prospective teacher. The result is the completion of all educational and training material required to receive the Bachelor of Education or Associate Bachelor of Education degree with International TESOL College.

English speakers are offered the Bachelor of Education in EFL  or the Associate Bachelor of Education in EFL to become accredited to teach English worldwide.

Entrance Requirements

Bachelor of Education

1. 20 years of age or older
2. Fluent English speaker
3. Minimum of some  post high school formal education from an accredited university(ies) or college(s) worldwide. Ability to produce supporting transcripts.

Associate Bachelor of Education

1. 18 years of age or older
2. Fluent English speaker
3. Minimum of a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Length of Programs

Bachelor of Education, EFL

The ITC B. Ed., EFL program requires a minimum of 400 credit hours equivalent to 8 semesters or 4 years of university study, 180 credit hours may be accepted as transferred from other accredited institutions. Up to 160 hours of credit may be awarded for informal education and real life  experiences.

 Associate Bachelor of Education, EFL

The ITC A. B. Ed., EFL program requires a minimum of 200 credit hours equivalent to 4 semesters or 2 years of college study, 100 credit hours may be accepted as transferred from other accredited institutions.

Eligibility for Transfer Credits

PART A Transferable Credits  (All transfer credits must be verifiable)

1. Formal Education ( maximum 180)
   Credits may be accepted for transfer to the ITC B. Ed. program from any accredited post high school university, college or institute of higher education.
2. International TESOL training ( maximum 100)
   Transfer credits may be awarded for International TESOL or training of other TESOL providers  taken prior to registration.
3. Informal Education (maximum 50)
   A maximum of 50 credits may be awarded based on informal education courses.
4. Real Life Experiences (maximum 50)
   Transfer credits may be given for  real life experiences associated with field of national international education.
5. Overseas teaching experience (maximum 40)
   Transfer credits may be given for previous overseas teaching experience. In some cases transfer credit may be given for domestic teaching experience.

50% of practice teaching may be credited from verifiable practice teaching done prior to enrolling in ITC program

MAXIMUM TRANSFER CREDITS ALLOWED FOR B.ED. PROGRAM IS 340

COST OF the B. Ed., EFL PROGRAM

The full price of the International TESOL COLLEGE Program is $2595 USD.

LENGTH OF BACHELOR OF EDUCATION PROGRAM

The student teacher has a 24  month period from registration to complete all components of the B. Ed., EFL program.

ELIGIBILITY FOR OVERSEAS PRACTICUMS

All student teachers in the B. Ed. program are eligible for up to 2 weeks (22 credits per week) of practice teaching at the English Teacher training center in Mexico.or at other locations worldwide Accomodations to be provided FREE.

Associate Bachelor of Education, EFL Total 200 required

The full price of the International TESOL COLLEGE Associate B. Ed. Program is $2295 USD. Scholarships may be awarded to former graduates of the International TESOL certificate program.

LENGTH OF ASSOCIATE BACHELOR OF EDUCATION PROGRAM

The student teacher has a 18 month period from registration to complete all components of the B. Ed., EFL program.

ELIGIBILITY FOR OVERSEAS PRACTICUMS
