Taking the lead from such well known universities such as Harvard University and McGill University, International TESOL now offers a full semester of International TESOL training in a new and innovative on campus/off campus format.

The TESOL Semester Academic Program is designed to cover academic material regularly studied in one college or university semester of 90-95 days. However, since students study and learn at different rates, the program allows those wishing to complete the curriculum quickly to progress at their own rate, often completing the semester of material in less than one month of intensive study.

You can study at the normal college or university pace and complete all 148 hours in a full college semester, or you can take the accelerated pace and be on the job teaching English overseas in less than one month. With the new and innovative TESOL Semester Academic Program you decide how quickly you want to graduate depending upon how intensive you want to work. Just like taking an Executive MBA program, you are in charge of your progress and graduation date.

The TESOL Semester Academic Program is composed of 6 parts totalling 200 credit hours:

Part 1: Intensive Online Enrichment Program (80 Credit hours) [Details]

In addition, all students have the option to take additional courses in various areas of specialization. Six courses are offered at 18 credits each. At least 100 hours of intensive study are required to complete the ENRICHMENT PROGRAM. Students are REQUIRED  to complete a minimum of 100 credit hours.

COST OF TESOL ACADEMIC PROGRAM

The full price of the International TESOL Enrichment Program is $695. This price includes 100 credit hours of International TESOL Academic training, including 60 hours of practice teaching.

LENGTH OF TESOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

The student teacher has a 12 month period from start of the online session to complete all components of the enrichment program.

ELIGIBILITY FOR MEXICO PRACTICE TEACHING

Prior to undertaking the practice teaching component in Mexico, all students must complete the online enrichment program, PLUS the grammar course, PLUS a minimum of 1 specialization course. TESOL ENRICHMENT graduates are eligible for 1 week of practice teaching in Mexico.

International TESOL HONORS ENRICHMENT Program

The International TESOL HONORS ENRICHMENT program is the ultimate English teacher training program available anywhere. The student teacher has a 12 month period from completion of the in-class session to complete all components of TESOL HONORS.

ELIGIBILITY FOR MEXICO PRACTICE TEACHING

Prior to undertaking the practice teaching component in Mexico, all students must complete the Honors Online Enrichment Program, PLUS the grammar course PLUS a minimum of 1 specialization course. TESOL HONORS ENRICHMENT graduates are eligible for 2 weeks of practice teaching in Mexico.

TESOL Program CERTIFICATES

All graduates who have successfully completed any TESOL Program will be awarded the International TESOL Certificate which will allow graduates to obtain jobs worldwide under the TESOL Program Job Guarantee. Graduates will also receive official seals, which are to be affixed to their International TESOL Certificate. All graduates who successfully complete Specialization courses, the grammar component, independent study and additional practice teaching credits will be awarded official seals.

All graduates of the TESOL HONORS Program will receive a special HONORS seal to designate their accomplishment in addition to all regular achievement seals.
